Jamb CAPS 2019 Admission Status Options and Messages, Meaning and Solution to Issues on JAMB CAPS

Importance of JAMB CAPS to Candidates
Below are the reason why candidate have to take JAMB CAPS very important.- JAMB CAPS allow candidates to follow admission status of Admission even with mobile phone
- JAMB CAPS allow candidates to Accept and Reject Admission
- JAMB Caps allow candidates to confirm if your O'level Result (s) is successfully uploaded on JAMB Portal.
JAMB CAPS Options and their Meaning
On JAMB CAP 2019 there are Basically four relevant option which are important to candidates. The options are:
- Admission Status
- Transfer Approval
- Market Place
- My O'level
What is the meaning of theses JAMB CAPS Options
1. Admission Status on JAMB CAPS
This is very important on because there is admission for any candidates without admission on JAMB CAPS. The initial status of all student is "Not Admitted" and the status will change inline with JAMB consideration for candidates. There are different status which all will be discuss fully later in this post.2. Transfer Approval on JAMB CAPS
This option is included for candidates that may not be considered for their original chosen course. with this option candidates will be allow to see the new course that the institution wish to consider such candidate for and there will be chance of accepting or rejecting the options depending on candidate choice.If candidate accept the new course, Changer of Course will be required on JAMB Portal after admission has finally been given.
3. Market Place on JAMB CAPS
In case you are not finally consider admission by the institution of your choice, with Market Place option, JAMB will suggest for you some institution that want to consider you for admission.Institution on Market Place are always Private, and that is why you have to be very careful before accepting any of institutions suggested for you.
You will be required to do Changing of Institution to any of institution you accept after you have been finally considered for admission.
4. My O'level on JAMB CAPS
This option is just available for you to confirm your pre-uploaded O'level Result because only candidates that upload their O'level Result successfully on JAMB Portal will be consider for admission.Click her to confirm if your O'level Result is successfully uploaded on JAMB portal
JAMB CAPS Admission Status Messages and their Meaning
Like I said earlier there are different Status you can see on your JAMB CAPS Admission Status. Currently there are three JAMB CAPS Admission Status I have seen, which are
- Not Admitted
- Admission in Progress
- You have been Accepted for admission
What are the Meaning of three JAMB CAPS Admission Status
1. Not Admitted on JAMB CAPS
This status is the general status for all candidates before school start sending lists to JAMB, it makes student panic at all time of checking JAMB CAPS because some candidates interpret the status wrongly that admission will not be given especially when other candidates are seeing something different.If you see this on your status, it does not implies that you will not be admitted, it only means that you have not yet been consider for admission, and if your school has not release all lists, you can still be hopeful that you may later be considered for admission.
2. Admission in Progress on JAMB CAPS
When JAMB receive the list of candidates from JAMB, the status will change to "Admission in Progress" which means you have already been considered for admission and admission will soon be given after full verification.Candidates seeing this status should make sure that O'level result has successfully been uploaded on JAMB CAPS because it is possible for the status to change from Admission in Progress to NO Admitted if JAMB noticed that O'level result has not been successfully uploaded by such candidate.
3. You Have been Accepted for Admitted on JAMB CAPS
Let me start by saying Congratulations to candidates with such status, candidate with the status
"CONGRATULATIONS, YOU HAVE ACCEPTED ADMISSION!" has fully been admitted and in this condition, candidates have the chance of Accepting and Rejecting Admission.
Only candidates that accept admission will be able to print the real admission status and JAMB Admission Letter.
