Courses that you can offer with D7, E8 or f9 in Mathematics

It is obvious know to everybody that all school in Nigeria (University, Polytechnic and College ) required not less than Five O'level Credit Pass in Compulsory for every course


Can I be offer admission with D7, E8 or f9 in mathematics?

The answer for for this question is NO and or Yes

Why No?
To gain admission into any University, Polytechnics or colleges of Education, English and Mathematics must be included in five compulsory O'level subjects

Why Yes?
Depending your course or Institution of choice,

Some school still accept pass  (D7, or E8) and even f9 for some courses that did not even require mathematics at all.



List of course that you can offer with D7, E8 or F9 in mathematics and their requirements


Christian Studies
Only three of Nigerian Universities of Christian studies, which are:
  1. Ajayi Crowther University
  2. University of Ilorin Unilorin
  3. Kwara State University 

General O'level Requirements for Christian Studies

Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, CRS and three (3) other relevant subjects.



O'level Special Consideration for  Christian Studies

EKSU requires only Arts subjects.
KASU accepts only subjects from Arts or
Social Sciences.
(iii) LASU requires five (5) O Level credit
passes including English Language.
(iv) TSUJ accepts O Level pass in
Mathematics.


Classical Studies
Only one Nigerian Universities offer Classical Studies, which is
University of Ibadan

General O'level Requirements for Classical Studies

Five (5) SSC credit passes at one sitting or Six (6) SSC credit passes at two (2) sittings to include English Language, Literature in English or History, one Arts or Social Science subject and any other subject.

Communication Studies/Communication and Language Arts

Only University of Ibadan offer Communication Language Arts 
Five (5) SSC credit passes or equivalent including English Language, Literature in English, Arts/ Music depending on the combination.

BOWEN requires five (5) O Level credit passes to include English Language, Literature in English and any other three (3) Arts or Social Science subjects.
IBADAN requires five (5) O Level credit passes at one sitting or six (6) O Level credit passes at two (2) sittings to include English Language, Literature in English and any other three (3) or four (4) subjects from Arts, Social Sciences or Sciences. Note that Government and Economics are not Arts subjects.
(iii) UYO accepts a D7 in Mathematics.
