O'level result is the core requirement for admission into Higher Institutions. As far as Nigeria is concern no admission without O'level.

How to Combine O'level Result for Admission
Just as I have mentioned earlier in that Post, currently there are three generally accepted O'leve Exam in Nigeria which are National Examination Council (NECO), West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB). The is also Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) O'level which is only accepted by some Schools in Nigeria.
All this aforementioned O'level result can be combined for admission into Nigerian Schools, not more than two sittings. In other word you can combine WAEC and NECO, NECO and NABTEB, NABTEB and WAEC for Admission, except School of Health Technology, Ilesha which currently does not accept the combination of O'level result of different bodies like I have mentioned, the school only accept the combination of WAEC and WAEC, NECO and NECO, NABTEB and NABTEB.
Universities, Polytechnic and Colleges of Education except one accept two O'level sitting for all courses, except some Universities which does not accept it for some competition courses like Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Dentistry and Law.

As at the time of writing this post, the following schools will not consider candidates with Combined result for admission into any Course offer in the institution
- University of Lagos
So University of Lagos Does not Accept Combine Result two O'level Sittings for Nursing, Medicine and Surgery, Pharmacy, Accounting, Law and other Courses offered in the University.
List of Universities that accept Combine result two O'level sittings for Nursing
- University of Ibadan (UI) requires six (6) O Level credit passes at two (2) sittings to include English Language, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, Mathematics and any one (1) of Economics, Government, Literature in English, History, Geography or Physics, (this will be an advantage).
- Niger Delta University (NDU) requires O'level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings.
- University of Nigeria Nsuka (UNN) requires Olevel credit passes or its equivalent at not more than two (2) sittings.
- Edo University, Iyamho (EUI) requires five (5) credit passes at SSC or its equivalent in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Lead City University (LCITY) requires O Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

- Ambrose Alli University (AAU) requires five (5) O Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Biology and Chemistry at a sitting.
- Delta State University (DELSU) requires SSC O Level or its equivalent with credit passes in at least five (5) subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in one sitting.

- Niger Delta University (NDU) requires O'level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings.

- Federal University, Dutse (FFED-DUTSE) requires five (5) credit passes at SSC to include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- NILE accepts credit pass in any Science subject in lieu of Physics.

- University of Benin (UNIVBEN), University of IBADAN (UI), Abia State University (ABSU),
- Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Osun State University (UNIOSUN), Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) and Bowen University, Iwo (BOWEN) require the O Level credit passes at one (1) sitting.
- University of ILORIN requires five (5) O Level credit passes at only one (1) sitting and minimum score as determined by the University Senate in UTME.
- University of Nigeria (UNN) accepts Physics with Chemistry (as a single subject) for Physics and Chemistry. UNN requirements should be at one (1) sitting.
- Delta State University DELSU requires SSCE O Level or its equivalent with credit passes in at least five (5) subjects which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in one sitting.
