Nation Open University of Nigeria was established in the year 2002 and owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria.The University is an Online Based Institution whereby student will do most of the school activities online including, lecture AND Test, only practical and Exam are been scheduled to hold at the Study Centres.

Like othe Universities, National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) also have admission requirent as applicable to cadidates depending on Programme or Course of choiceThe Institution does not require jamb as I have said eairlier, but the general requirements for getting admission into the National Open University of Nigeria include five (5) credits in the SSCE/GCE O’Level/NECO/NABTEB or equivalents at not more than two (2) sittings obtained in subjects relevant to the proposed field(s) of study. The five (5) credits include Credits in Mathematics, English and 3 other relevant subjects
