The Joint Admission Matriculation has design a system called jamb CAPS to moderate admission processing into Nigeria Higher Institutions  for both Local and Foreign Candidates. 

So, this post is to provide for you A-Z Guide you need on JAMB CAPS. 

 What is JAMB CAPS?
The full meaning of CAPS is Central Admission Processing System,

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board has design this system to help students to decide on school to go for because this Platform allow student to Reject and Accept Admission. 

This system is always specific to Candidates at a specified year, like this year is refer to as jamb caps 2019

You will not be able to Check or print your jamb admission status until you accept admission on JAMB CAPS and that is why it is also refer to as JAMB CAPS admission status. 


How to Check JAMB CAPS: Reject and Accept Admission on CAPS 

Just as I have said earlier in this post, JAMB CAPS Portal is design to Accept and Reject Admission and the portal accessible in two ways: 

Through JAMB CAPS Login 
Through Main Jamb Portal Login (JAMB E-facility Account) 

but the best ways  is to access it through main jamb portal login 

Procedure to Check, Reject and Accept Admission on Jamb CAPS 

  1. Visit https://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/
  2. Login with your Email and Password 
  3. After a successful login, Click on Admission State
  4. You will be redirect to  jamb caps portal 
  5. If you have been offer admission by any school, there you will find a congratulation message which contain the institution and the course you are given 
  6. If you wish to accept the admission click on "accept" and if you are not satisfy with the admission click on reject

Can I be given another Admission, if I reject admission on JAMB CAPS?

The Answer to this question is "YES"

Just as you know that Jamb allow changing of Institution as much as you can

If you are given admission by a school and you rejected the admission on JAMB CAPS, it means you can no longer be consider as an admitted candidate of the institution. 

You can still proceed to change the institution you want to consider again t first choice and if the school gives you admission you it will reflect on JAMB CPAS and then you can now accept but if unfortunately you are not given admission by the new school you just considered, don't expect anything  on JAMB CAPS. 


JAMB CAPS Market Place: Considering other Institution for Admission 

 If eventually you are not given admission at all on jamb CAPS, the is an option on the platform call JAMB CAPT Market Place which allow you to see other institution that you can consider for admission. 

Schools that will be suggested for you on JAMB CAPS are alwasys always Private Institution and you will be automatically given admission if you choose and accept one of the schools listed for you on the Market Place.
