O'level Requiremts for Agriculture

Below are the subjects needed to study agriculture:
Five (5) SSC credit passes to include English Language, Biology/Agricultural  Science, Chemistry and  any one of Mathematics, Physics, Geography and  Economics.

O'level Special Consideration Requirements for Agriculture

  1. UI requires five (5) credit passes including English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Mathematics and any one of Geography, Physics or Economics 
  2. UMUDIKE accepts Five (5) 'O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings to include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Science and any other science subjects; requires at least 'O' Level pass in Physics. 'O' Level credit in Agricultural Science must be backed up with at least 'O' Level pass in Biology
  3. OOU, EKSU and ILORIN accept 'O' Level pass in Physics. (iv) IMSU accepts 'O' Level pass in Mathematics, along with 'O' Level credit pass in Physics and vice versa.
  4. ABU requires 'O' Level credit passes in Mathematics and Physics. Also requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Geography and Economics. 
  5. (vii) IBADAN, EKSU, ILORIN and TASUED require 'O'Level credit pass in Agricultural Science and a pass in Biology. 
  6. UDU and AAU accept 'O' Level pass in English Language.
  7. BIU requires at least 'O' Level pass in Physics.
  8. BUKrequires five (5) ‘O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry and any one (1) of Mathematics/Physics, Geography.  FED-WUKARI requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings to include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Science and any of Physics, Geography and Economics.
  9. KSU requires five (5) credit passes at SSC in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science, Economics or any other Science/Social science subject and a pass in Physics. A credit pass in Agricultural Science must be backed up with at least 'O' Level pass in Biology.
  10. FUOYE five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, English Language, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics/Geography/Economics. For Soil Science Option in Agriculture FUOYE requires; Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, English Language, Biology/Agric  Science, Chemistry, Physics. In addition to the above, candidate must at least have a pass in Physics.For Crop Science and Horticulture FUOYE requires;   Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, English Language, Biology/Agric Science, Chemistry, Physics.           For Animal Production and Health FUOYE requires;           Five (5) SSC credit passes to include Mathematics, English Language, Biology/Agric Science, Chemistry, Physics. Consideration can be given to candidates with pass in Physics.
  11. BABCOCK University requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture Science, Physics/Geography, Home Economics/Food &Nutrition.
  12. ABUAD requires 'O' Level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Physics. (xv) LANDMARK – Same as in Agricultural Economics
  13. FED-DUTSINMA requires five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Mathematics and Physics/Geography/Economics.
  14. DELSU requires Credit passes in five (5) WAEC/GCE/NECO subject including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, at least a pass in Physics obtained in not more than two (2) sittings
  15. FED-GASHUA requires five (5) SSC Credit passes or its equivalent to include: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science & any one of Geography, Physics and Economics.
  16. FED-DUTSE requires five (5) 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, and any one of Physics, Geography and Economics
  17. RSUST requires five 'O' Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science.


UTME Jamb Subject  Combination for Agriculture

Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and any one of Physics or Mathematics.
Note: That English Language is Compustory all jamb Candidates.

SPECIAL CONSIDRATION for UTME Jamb Subject  Combination for Agriculture
  1. ILORIN, UDU and IMSU accept Economics or Geography in lieu of Physics/Mathematics.
  2. LAPAI requires Chemistry, Physics and Biology
  3. ABU requires Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and Mathematics.
  4. ABUAD requires Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.
  5. LANDMARK – Same as in Agricultural Economics.
  6. KSU requires Chemistry, Biology and any of Physics, Agricultural Science and Mathematics FED-DUTSINMA requires Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and Mathematics/Physics
  7. DELSU requires Biology or Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics.
  8.  FED-GASHUA accepts Chemistry, Biology/Agriculture and any one of Physics and Mathematics.
  9. FED-DUTSE requires Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and any one of Physics or Mathematics. (
  10. FUOYE requires Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science and Mathematics/ Physics
  
Direct Entry Requiremts for Agriculture

Just Like other course, you can also process Direct Entry Admission into Agriculture with your ND or NCE, A'level Certificates (IJMBE, JUPEB or CAMBRIDGE) or HND, with this aforemention qualification and Certificates you will be given admisssion into 200L or 300L.

Direct Entry General Requiremts for Agriculture 

Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and one from Biology/Botany/Zoology/ Agricultural Science, Economics, Physics, Geography and Geology/Mathematics (Pure & Applied).  

Direct Entry Special Considration Requiremts for Agriculture
  1. ABSU and MAIDUGURI accept ND Agriculture into 100 level programme. (200 Level for EUI). 
  2. LAPAI and ILORIN require ‘A’ Level passes in both Chemistry and Biology. 
  3. MAIDUGURI, IBADAN and AAU accept NCE merit in Agriculture double major. 
  4. IMSU - accepts ND/NCE Double Major or HND in Agriculture or related disciplines with at least a merit pass into 200 level and HND (Upper Credit) into 300 level. 
  5. UDU and ABU accept ND distinction, HND credit, NCE double major at credit level in Agriculture. UDU accepts ND Upper credit and HND lower credit. 
  6. IBADAN and UMUDIKE accept ND or HND in the related fields. IBADAN Agricultural candidates must apply to read Agriculture until 500 level when options will be available. 
  7. AAU accepts Chemistry, Biology or Agriculture at ‘A’ Level and ND upper credit in Agricultural Science and HND Agriculture not below credit pass.  Also accepts ND/NCE credit in Agricultural Science with at least a pass in Physics at the 'O' Level. 
  8. EBSU and UMUDIKE accept ND distinction/credit, HND credit into 200 level while those with ND lower credit NCE Double Major at credit/merit level in Agriculture are admitted into 100 level. 
  9.  UMUDIKE requires ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and Biology/Botany/Zoology/Agricultural Science. (x) ILORIN accepts ND/NCE credit pass in Agriculture into 200 level while those with HND may be admitted into 300 level. Also accepts NCE merit in
