List Universities that will not accept UTME admissions into Nursing/Public Health this years

ADMISSION UPDATE
When we talk of Courses that are the mostly chosen by students, I think Nursing is one, and this is due to the fact that Nursing is a profession that will not disappoint you after school because you don't even have to look for Job before you see, this brings about the high competition for the course in the Nigeria Universities.

Some Candidates registration are mistakenly done by CBT centres attendants  choosing wrong subject Combinations, year of birth less than the jamb required for students, and other mistakes that can not be mention here, which are boldly and correctly stated by the in the Brochure for the proper checking of the candidates.

I always advice candidates to make sure they go through brochure very well before proceeding to CBT Centre, so that they will not do some things blindly as the CBT Centre have no help to render for you, they just do the registration according to your choice which may not be in accordance with jamb requirement.

It will not be good enough when candidates with high score in UTME are not able to gain admission this year due to the fact that their chosen school may not offer them admission for the courses they have choose to study. 

So, this is why I have come up with this post to highlight for you some school that may likely not accept UTME admission into Nursing and Public Health this year, these schools may be your chosen school (s).

Schools that will not offer Admission into Nursing this year

As it should be, I do read brochore as if am read books for exam just because I want to write to sertisfy you, and not just to post here what  I don't know about. 

On checking  the UTME/D.E requirement for Nursing/ Public Health I noticed that it was stated that two of Nigerian Leading Universities will not accept UTME admission into Nursing. 

  1. Ahmadu Bello University
  2. University of Ibadan 

This maybe so surprising but it is the fact.

How true is it?

Jamb Brochure is the best to get information for things like but still yet I know this maybe difficult for you to belief and even School don't take effect on things with JAMB immediately sometimes. 

What Can I do if I have choosen those school already

Normally as a UTME candidate, I know that with this you will be totally confused, right? 

But you can take the following steps/options, so as to be sure before u probably go for changing of institution or course if you have choosen one of those school as your school of choice to study Nursing/public Health.

  1. If you have friends or family  in school, you can contact them to go and confirm for you in their Admission office.
  2. The second option for your if you have choosen one of those school as your choice of institution is that you can personally proceed to the school Admission office to confirm if the will accept or not.
  3. You can possibly wait for the school to release their post UTME form  to confirm if it will be stated in their advert.
 The first two steps is more preferable because, the schools may not allow changing of Institution/course again after the post utme form is released.

NOTE: This is not applicable to Direct Entry Students, If you choose those mentioned universities for Direct Entry admission you are not affected and don't be bordered.
