Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) is a military and civilian blends Institution Located at Kano, Nigeria, as the name Implies, it is a Minitry Technology School accredited by National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), National Universities Commission (NUC), Council for the Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN) and Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). 

This Institute is a University equivalent Institution which conducts undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Aerospace Engineering and allied disciplines.

Admission requirements

What is the Jamb Cutoff Mark for Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT)? 

 As a Federal School, the Institution (AFIT) follows the Jamb Minimum cutoff Mark for Federal University before they determaine Cutoff Mark every year

But their cuf off Mark for Last years  (2018) is 160 for Social and Management Sciences and 170 for Air Engineering in minimum, this year cutoff Mark will be announced which the Appliction for Admission registration starts.

O'level and UTME Subject For each course offered in Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT)

Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) Programmes – Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information & Communication Technology and B.Sc in Cyber Security

  1. JAMB UTME cut-off pass mark determine when the POST UTME form is Out. To be considered for admission, candidates must have changed their institution of First Choice to AFIT through JAMB.
  2. Minimum of WASC/GCE/SSCE/NECO/NTC/NABTEB with at least credit passes in 5 subjects in not more than 2 sittings. The subjects must include Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and one other subject from Additional Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Auto-Mechanics, Applied Electricity, Metal Work, Statistics and Geography.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Programmes – Accounting, Business Administration, Economics and Marketing
  1. JAMB UTME cut-off JAMB UTME cut-off pass mark determine when the POST UTME form is Out pass mark of 160. To be considered for admission, candidates must have changed their institution of First Choice to AFIT through JAMB.

Can I do Direct Entry Admission into Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT)? 

 Yes and No, You are wondering why?
There is no Direct Entry Admission Into the Institution for Undergraduates Courses for now
but,
AFIT accepts BSc or HND in related Courses for Admission in Post Graduate and Msc Programmes.

 

Admission Requirements for Posgraduates Admission into Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT)

Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes in Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum of Third Class in Engineering, Material Sciences or Physics or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/|Electronic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Material Science Engineering.

Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
A minimum grade of B.Sc degree with Third Class Honours or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Purchasing & Supply and other related fields.

Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programme in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
A minimum of Third Class in first Degree or HND with a minimum of lower credit in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and other related fields.

Masters Programme in Aerospace Engineering
A minimum of Second Class Honours in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/|Electronics Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering and Material Science Engineering or Physics.
